Kings Mountain Transit (KM Transit)
At long last, there is now a way for your child to get to the Kings Mountain School without all that driving!
Kings Mountain (KM) transit service, a new initiative designed to help alleviate the transportation challenges faced by many families on the Coastside to KMES. This service will be offered Monday- Friday following the CUSD calendar, starting this Fall!
Here's What KM Transit Offers:
1. Morning Service: For $150.00 per month, your child will be picked up from the New Leaf parking lot at 7:30 AM and safely transported to KMES. After school/evening pick-up will be the responsibility of parents.
2. Two-way Service: For $225.00 per month, not only will your child be picked up in the morning, but they'll also be transported back to the New Leaf parking lot by 5 PM. After school enrollment in VFCR will be required to ensure your child is supervised between school hours and their evening ride. Venture Free will offer a collaboration rate for this enrollment.
The van has a maximum capacity of 12 students, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride for every child. We can provide boosters seats if your child needs one.
We will need a minimum number of students to enroll in order to offer this service. Seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference will be given to families opting for the two-way service to maximize the utility of the vans. So, apply now using the form below!
