Our Community, Making a Difference

At Kings Mountain Elementary School (KMES), we believe it takes a community to help children learn, grow, and thrive. Coastside Gives is a wonderful reflection of that belief, bringing together neighbors, local businesses, families, and friends to support the organizations that make our Coastside community special.

Through Kings Mountain Associated Parents (KMAP), donations raised during Coastside Gives help provide meaningful educational opportunities and resources for our students. Contributions support hands-on science programs, classroom aides, educational field trips, classroom supplies, transportation, and special community traditions like Stone Soup, Field Day, and graduation. These resources help create the enriching, student-centered experience that makes KMES such a special place to learn.

Every year, we set a fundraising goal to help sustain these programs and meet the evolving needs of our school. Thanks to the generosity of our community, donations can go even further through matching gifts and additional fundraising opportunities.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps make a difference. Whether you're a current family, a proud KMES alum, a neighbor, or someone who believes in the power of a small school with a big heart, your support helps our students discover new interests, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

We are grateful to be part of a community that believes in investing in its children. Together, we're helping KMES flourish, one student and one generous act at a time.

Be Part of the Difference

Your support helps make these experiences possible for our students. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal and strengthens the community that makes KMES so unique.
