What Is It?
Hosted by 1st Grade Families
Join us for an afternoon of fun before the first day of school! Whether you're a returning family or brand new to Kings Mountain Elementary, the Welcome Back Picnic is a great chance to catch up with friends, meet new families, and let the kids play together before school begins.
We'll have:
Cold drinks
Popsicles
Crafts and activities for the kids
Time to connect with old friends and make new ones
No RSVP is needed—just bring your family and enjoy the afternoon!

Why Do We Hold It?
This tradition has been part of KMEs for generations, rooted in community, school spirit, and the natural beauty that surrounds us.
It's a time to celebrate who we are, welcome new families, and strengthen the bonds that make our school such a special place to learn and grow.
